Credits

What Is a Credit

Credits are spent each time you run a document. The same credits work across all three verticals. There's no law-only budget or gov-only budget. A certified kite costs six kites.

Credits per action

Scan · 1 credit	Reads the document: observations and its named entities (people, organizations, works, jurisdictions, dates). Does not score.
Score · 4 credits	One read on each of the four independent gates. Requires a preceding Scan.
A kite · 5 credits	Scan plus Score: one reading, drawn as a kite.
Certify · 25 credits	Twelve fresh reads per gate, trimmed, frozen into an immutable certificate stored in your Cert Vault. Certifying the same document again is a new, independent certificate at the same price.
A certified kite · 30 credits	A kite plus Certify: six kites.

Your account usage page shows every credit spent, by action.
